Hadley, Mass. (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced on Tuesday that Route 9 in Hadley will be down to one lane in each direction on Wednesday.

According to the MassDOT, the lane closures will be between East Street and West Street on November 2nd from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The closures are happening Wednesday due to paving operations, which are “part of the roadway reconstruction project at the intersection of Russell and Middle Street (Route 9 and Route 47).”

MassDOT is asking drivers to find alternative routes, and warning that there will possibly be delays on Route 9 and reduced speed. Drivers should use caution.
