LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Longmeadow residents celebrated Halloween in a big way on Monday. Costumed kids of all ages walked the streets, trick-or-treating.

Ghosts, superheroes, and various animals were spotted ringing doorbells and asking for candy. It was an exciting night that’s celebrated in Longmeadow every year.

Lauren Thompson of Longmeadow told 22News, “I think trick or treating is really fun because it’s a really good tradition, and you can spend a lot of time with your friends.”

Greenacre Avenue in Longmeadow was closed to traffic so that children and their parents could trick or treat without having to worry about cars on the road.
