Snowfall totals from Thursday’s first snow of the season

More than 6" of snow fell in Rowe

(WWLP) – Western Massachusetts was blanketed Thursday with an early coating of snow, as the first flakes of the season came down. The snowfall actually piled up a bit in western portions of Hampshire and Franklin County, as well as the eastern Berkshires. Here are some snowfall totals, as reported to the National Weather Service:

  • Rowe: 6.4″
  • Heath: 5.3″
  • Hawley: 5.1″
  • Worthington: 4.5″
  • Conway: 4.4″
  • Williamsburg: 4.1″
  • Savoy: 4″
  • Leyden: 3.5″
  • Plainfield: 3.1″
  • Colrain: 3″
  • Buckland: 3″
  • Westhampton: 2.5″
  • Granby: 2.5″
  • Clarksburg: 2″
  • Pittsfield: 0.7″
