HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – The City of Holyoke issued a warning to residents Friday night that their water might be discolored for the next few days.

An alert was placed on the city’s website, notifying residents of the issue. Holyoke Water Works said there’s a slight increase in water discoloration from a reservoir in Southampton.

The city is working to correct the clarity problem by flushing hydrants in the city. If the water quality isn’t restored in the next few days, call the Water Treatment Plant at 413-532-6778.
