SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – Columbia Gas crews are making repairs, after a gas service line to a South Hadley home ruptured Wednesday.

Andrea Luppi, spokesperson for Columbia Gas, told 22News that a contractor hit the line at 57 Dartmouth Street. She said that the gas service has only been interrupted to that one home, and there are no evacuations as a result.

A police officer is out directing traffic around the work.

Luppi said that the repair should be complete in the next few hours.
