Driver crashed into Westfield Walmart store

Driver taken to Noble Hospital for evaluation

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A car crash drew attention at a popular shopping center in Westfield early Tuesday afternoon.

Deputy Fire Chief Mark Devine told 22News that there was no serious damage to the building, which was struck by the Subaru Forester early Tuesday afternoon.

Images sent to 22News via Report It showed at least one other vehicle, a Hyundai sedan, damaged near the store entrance.

The driver of the Subaru was taken to Noble Hospital to be evaluated.

There is no word at this time on what led up to the crash.
