(NBC News) Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump continued his calls of a rigged election on Monday, this time referencing “phony polls” that show him losing ground in the race for the White House.
“You see these phony polls. And rigged the media they can wield absolute power over your life your economy and your country,” said Trump.
Meanwhile, Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton is looking ahead, working to win her party seats in Congress.
Some strategists for the GOP are predicting that Trump’s most recent comments could be threatening the chances of victory for other down ballot Republicans.
