Teenager allegedly fired several shots into a home in Springfield’s Forest Park neighborhood

Police credit neighbors with alerting them to the shooting.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – It’s still a mystery why a teenager allegedly fired several shots into a home in Springfield’s Forest Park neighborhood this weekend.

According to Springfield police Lt. Mark Rolland, the suspect fired several shots into the home near the intersection of Carver and Washington streets.

Lt. Rolland told 22News, Fortunately the bullets¬†didn’t hit anyone. They found the teenager driving on Cliffwood avenue about a half mile away.
