LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – 400 people packed the Gremio Lusitano Club in Ludlow for the 5th annual Michael J. Dias foundation fundraiser.
The foundation’s mission is to make a difference in the battle against substance abuse and drugs. Specifically, in the lives of teens and families.
The money from Saturday night’s fundraiser goes a long way in supporting that mission. Guests enjoyed dinner, danced, and there was a raffle. Organizers told 22News why Saturday night’s event was so important.
Ed Perreault, Michael J. Dias foundation said, “This is our fifth annual fundraiser and all of the money that we raise with our fundraisers helps us to continue our goal from year to year.”
The Michael J. Dias Foundation owns and manages a sober living facility for men who are recovering from substance abuse disorder.
