WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – It’s been a while since we saw a good soaking in western Massachusetts, so we wanted to remind you about a Massachusetts law.
As of last year, drivers are required to turn on their headlights whenever their windshield wipers are on.
Eric Freeman Jr. of Westfield told 22News he saw people on Friday who weren’t obeying the law. “It’s not just about you being able to see. It’s about other cars having their headlights on so that you can see them. So if somebody’s driving and they don’t have their headlights on, I can’t see them. Even though they can see what’s in front of them, it’s about all of us on the road.”
Especially during the fall, you have to go slow; wet leaves create slick conditions.
