WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – 22News has learned a third cat has been rescued from that rundown home on Queen Avenue in West Springfield.

Last week, we told you two cats had been rescued from deplorable conditions there. Through the window, you could see feces and garbage coating the floors of the house.

West Springfield animal control said they returned to the home and found a third cat on Thursday. The cat was taken to Dakin Humane Society, and will soon be up for adoption.
