CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee Police arrested three people Wednesday morning for allegedly threatening several people with “very realistic” looking pellet guns.
According to Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk, police received a call of possible shots fired in the area of 628 Center Street around 8:00 a.m.
An officer was flagged down by multiple people on Center Street, who told them there had been some kind of argument inside the substance abuse center, Community Health Care Inc.
The suspects allegedly pointed a handgun at the victims, then got into their car and drove away. One of the victims followed the suspects and was able to get a license plate number and vehicle description, which they passed on to police.
Wilk says officers then tracked down the vehicle with the suspects still inside. All three were removed from the car and officers found two “very realistic” looking pellet handguns and holsters inside.
