Springfield Police arrested 2 suspects after stabbing

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – One person was stabbed Tuesday night near the intersection of Dunhill Avenue and Dubois Street in Indian Orchard.

Springfield Police Lt. Mark Rolland told 22News the department received a report of a stabbing around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday. Officers found one person with a stab wound to the chest, and another person that was unconscious.

The victim that was stabbed was brought to Baystate Medical Center.

Lt. Rolland said two suspects were arrested in connection to the incident. Police are choosing not to release their identities at this time.
