All Electronic Tolling goes live October 28

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – There will be an E-Z Pass distribution event on Saturday held Finck & Perras Insurance agency in Easthampton.

Representatives from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be at the Eastworks building on the first floor, Suite 160.

This gives people an opportunity to pick up an E-Z Pass transponder before the All Electronic Tolling system goes live October 28.

You will need to bring your vehicle registration and a photo ID to get a transponder. The transponders are free, but there is an initial $20 fee payable by credit card, cash, or check, which will be used to put money into the transponder account as a starting balance.

The even will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eastworks building located at 116 Pleasant Street in Easthampton.
