Toddler shot in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood

The toddler is expected to be okay

BOSTON, Mass. (WHDH) – A toddler was shot Saturday afternoon on Winslow St in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood.

The Police Commissioner said the shooting was gang related and the shot was intended for the little girl’s father. Instead, the little girl was caught in the cross fire. The bullet went through the 2-year-old’s hand and leg, and miraculously she is expected to be okay.

The Commissioner said the shooting occurred just after 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon. A man on a scooter drove up to the side of the car and fired into it where that toddler was hit. The Commissioner is angry and said the community should be outraged.
