Authentic Polish food and music at the St. Stanislaus Parish Bazaar

More than 5,000 people are expected to attend

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – If you’re looking for authentic Polish food and music, look no further than the 40th annual St. Stanislaus Parish Bazaar in Chicopee this weekend.

The annual event is held at the St. Stanislaus School on Front Street, right next to the St. Stanislaus Basilica. More than 5,000 people are expected to attend.

Guests dined on Polish food, danced to polish music, and shopped. Volunteers dressed in traditional Polish attire.

Elaine Lavoie of Wilbraham told 22News, “Well, I’m proud of Polish culture and I believe in preserving anything I can to have people know about polish people. It takes a Pole to hold up the American flag.”

There’s plenty of Polish food. There’s plenty of American food, so come on down. All items for sale were donated by parishioners.

The parish told 22News that the event raises more than $40,000. Proceeds will go towards the Saint Stanislaus Basilica parish.
