148 bags of “Ice Cream” heroin seized by Springfield Police

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield Police arrested two people allegedly in possession of 148 bags of heroin stamped with the logo “Ice Cream” driving a stolen car.

Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney told 22News officers saw the stolen grey Toyota Corolla and followed it down White Street, towards Allen Street. The car was observed turning into the Laundromax at 17 Allen Street.

Officers observed cocaine in plain view in the front seat. They found 148 bags of “Ice Cream” heroin and arrested both suspects, said Delaney.

Officers arrested Raul Olivo, 32, of Wilber Street, Springfield, and Jennifer Kieras, 27, of N. Main Street, South Deerfield.

Olivo’s charges: 

  • Using motor vehicle without authority
  • Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license
  • Possession of heroin with intent to distribute
  • Possession of cocaine

Kieras was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute. They will both be arraigned Friday morning.
