“Green” your Halloween

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) – Between candy wrappers, costume pieces, and other materials, there’s a lot of room for waste, but this year, it’s time to try and “Green” your Halloween! Alexandra Vining and Katie Costantini with the Center for Ecotechnology showed us how to reduce our carbon footprint this Halloween season!

  1. Make DIY trick-or-treat bags
  2. Find Eco-Friendly alternatives for costumes
  3. Think outside the candy box – find green alternatives for candy
  4. Reduce your carbon footprint on your trek around the neighborhood on Halloween night.
