WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Police in West Springfield are hoping you can help them identify three people accused of using counterfeit money.
According to the department, the three suspects passed counterfeit bills at the CVS store on Memorial Avenue.
If you can identify the suspects, you are asked to call West Springfield Police detectives at (413) 263-3210.
This is not the first time recently that drugstore purchases have been made with counterfeit bills. In early September, Springfield police say three people made small purchases with $100 bills at the Walgreen’s store on Boston Road, receiving large amounts of legitimate cash in change.
