Suspect robbed the bank with a note, no gun

ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – Police in Enfield are searching for a man who is suspected of robbing the Santander Bank at the Brookside Plaza on Tuesday.

According to Enfield Police Lt. Willie Pedemonti, the suspect walked into the Santander Bank at 40 Hazard Avenue and handed the teller a note that read, “This is a bank robbery, No die packs.” No weapon was shown or implied.

The suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of money before police arrived. Lt. Pedemonti said officers checked the area with police dogs but were unable to find the suspect.

Lt. Pedemonti described the suspect as a black man, about 5’6 tall, wearing a brown hat, tan dress jacket, khaki pants and brown boots. The photo above of the alleged suspect is from the bank surveillance.
