MassDOT in Lenox to discuss demolition of toll booths

LENOX, Mass. (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be holding four public meetings to provide information about what to expect as the toll booths are demolished at all existing toll plazas. On October 28, all-electronic tolling will be implemented along the Massachusetts Turnpike.

In the project overview, MassDOT will discuss the demolition process, timeline, hours of construction, and other items.

Their public meeting tour begins in Lenox Tuesday night at 6:30 at the highway office, located at 270 Main Street.

After that, they’ll be in West Springfield on Thursday at the Clarion Conference Center off Riverdale Street.
