CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee police say they believe a man who broke into a computer repair shop over the weekend, is the same man who stole a cash register from a nearby fruit market.
Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News that this most recent break-in happened at KNT Computers on Memorial Drive at around 10:35 Sunday night. The thief smashed through the front door and took some items from the shop; getting away before police could get there.
Wilk said that it is believed to be the same man who broke into Magri’s Fruit Co., located a little farther north on Memorial Drive, on September 28.
The suspect is described is an older white man with a gray mustache.
Police have put out two surveillance videos, one of which was slowed down to provide a closer look at the suspect. If you have any information, you are asked to call Chicopee Police Detectives at (413) 594-1730.
