CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal)  With a few steps, you can help end hunger, both locally and globally.  Megan Miller and Rev. Barbara Schenk told us more about the 39th Annual Greater Springfield CROP Hunger Walk.

39th Annual Greater Springfield CROP Hunger Walk

  • Sunday, October 16; Registration begins at 1pm, Walk begins at 2pm
  • Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Avenue, Springfield

ABOUT THE EVENT: The Springfield CROP Hunger Walk is a community-led event that raises awareness and funds to help end hunger, both locally and globally. Seventy-five percent of the funds raised support CWS’s sustainable development work in more than 30 countries around the world, and 25% of the funds raised from the Greater Springfield walk will benefit Open Pantry Community Services, The Food Bank of Western MA, and Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen in Chicopee.
