According to authorities, school administrators told an officer that students complained about the threat. They say a girl, who’s name was not released, was identified as the suspect and arrested Wednesday morning. She’s charged with first-degree threatening and breach of peace, and was referred to juvenile court.
Police say there is no evidence linking Wednesday’s threat to a threat on Tuesday. Two 13-year-old girls have been arrested for allegedly making Tuesday’s threats.
The Ansonia Police Department is encouraging all parents to take an active role in monitoring what online sites their children are using and what they are posting online.
