LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Ludlow Police are looking for a man they consider dangerous with an extensive criminal record and five outstanding warrants in Massachusetts for his arrest.

Ludlow Police Sgt. Danial Valadas told 22News officers responded to a report of an assault at the Mobile Gas Station parking lot at the intersection of Holyoke Street and West Street in Ludlow on Tuesday just before 3 p.m.

Officers then responded to a woman who had been the victim of an assault with a knife, said Valadas.

When officers arrived, they spoke to the victim and her two daughters concerning an ex-boyfriend that had just assaulted her with a knife, said Valadas.

Officers investigated and a District Trial Court Warrant was obtained for Cesar Luis Delrio on five criminal charges, said Valadas.

The suspect allegedly left the scene in a stolen 2005 green Chevy Avalanche pickup truck, traveling northbound on Moody Street.

Delrio has been at large since Tuesday afternoon, and is considered dangerous, said Valadas.

Delrio is 43-years-old and described as a light-skinned Hispanic man, approximately 5’06” with green eyes, and brown hair. He is homeless, but reportedly spends time in Ludlow, Holyoke, and Springfield, said Valadas.

Police are looking for any information to locate Delrio or for him to turn himself into any police agency. If you have any information on Delrio, please call the Ludlow Police Department at (413)-583-8305.
