Springfield college to build new counseling and mentoring center

The Springfield college neighborhood counseling and mentoring center will be ready by next fall

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield College students will soon be effecting young lives in the cities mason square neighborhood.

The Springfield students will reach out to the neighborhood children from the former Holy Family rectory on Eastern Avenue. They’re looking forward to one-on-one contact to benefit the kids in the old hill district.

The partner’s project with the youth in elementary school and one of the other school’s in the area. We do a lot of one-on-one and mentoring activities.

In your generation if they had one of these years ago? Exactly they would have done so many miracles because the criminal element like everywhere and people’s choices are really influenced by certain things that can really hurt them
