TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) Workshop – Saturday, October 8 at 1pm at Dakin’s Springfield Adoption & Education Center (171 Union Street, Springfield)
Are you (or someone you know) feeding a stray cat or two that you’ve seen hanging out around your home or where you work? If you’re seeing the same animal repeatedly, she’s probably a feral (outdoor homeless) cat who lives in that community. If you’d like to do more to help a cat like this than give them food occasionally, you can! Come to Dakin’s FREE workshop on learning how to TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) these cats. We’ll teach you how to safely and humanely trap them, bring them to Dakin’s Spay/Neuter Clinic for surgery, then safely release them back to their outdoor colonies so they don’t breed and bring innocent kittens into a very bleak and tough life. No pre-registration requiredjust come and learn.
