Holyoke police temporarily answering Chicopee 911 calls

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee residents who have an emergency will have 911 calls answered by members of the Holyoke police department for two hours Thursday morning. Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News that between 9:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M., the Chicopee 911 dispatch center will not be operating, as it is being remodeled during that time.

If you do have an emergency during that time, you should still call 911, however your call will be answered by Holyoke police, who will in turn relay that information to Chicopee police. If you do not have an emergency but still need to contact Chicopee police during that time, you can still call (413) 594-1700.
