Arrests made in string of car thefts

Three suspects were placed under arrest

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Ludlow Police have made arrests in connection with multiple car thefts around western Massachusetts.

Ludlow Police Sergeant Louis Tulik told 22News Daniel Wilkins and Kelly Starzyk, both of Ludlow, were arrested Wednesday. They allegedly stole a car from a gas station on Center Street in Ludlow Tuesday.

Starzyk was arrested Wednesday trying to escape out the second story window of her Winsor Street home.

Sgt. Daniel Valadas told 22News living in a suburban community doesn’t mean you’re safe from crime. “You can’t keep your motor vehicle running. It’s just not a prudent idea this day and age, especially with cold weather coming. If you’re going to leave your car unattended, it should be secure.”

Ryan Sullivan of Feeding Hills was also arrested.

He was allegedly found sitting in a stolen vehicle on Winsor Street.
