(NBC News) Charlotte’s curfew has been lifted after days of protests over the police shooting of 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott.
Weekend protests were largely peaceful.
Still, heightened security remains. Sunday’s Panthers game was declared an “extraordinary event”, giving officers more leeway to search fans in and around the stadium.
One man was arrested after officers found a fully loaded gun in his bag.
During the game dozens of protesters continued demonstrations outside the stadium under the watchful eye of a line of police.
