Surveillance video shows possible break-in suspect in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Police are investigating a spree of motor vehicle breaking and entering’s throughout the City of Pittsfield.

According to the Pittsfield Police Facebook page, early Wednesday morning, several vehicle break-ins were reported on Pecks Road, Hancock Road and in the area of Thomas Island Road.

There could be even more break-ins, police said. “There are likely more vehicle breaks in this area that did not get reported or have not yet been discovered.”

In the surveillance video provided by Pittsfield Police, you can see a possible suspect attempting to get inside a vehicle, but the door was locked, so he walked away.

If you have any information on the suspect in the video, or on the break-ins, you’re asked to send a private message to Pittsfield Police through Facebook, or through their anonymous tip line. They ask that you not post names on their Facebook feed.
