SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A memorial was held for a murder victim in Springfield’s Six Corners neighborhood.
Family and friends gathered at the home where Brandon Daniels grew up to celebrate what would have been his 31st birthday. Wednesday was also the third anniversary of his death.
Daniels was shot and killed after a confrontation on Walnut Street in 2013 but tonight they remembered the person, not the victim.
Deja Daniels, Daniel’s sister told 22News, “He’s there for anyone, like a “See you on the street and give you some change” type of guy.”
Antasia Rogers, Daniels’ neice said, “I could be on the other side of the world and he’d be there in 2 minutes, because he was that kind of a hero.”
Brandon Daniels’ murder remains unsolved. His killer has not been caught. If you have any information, the family asks that you contact Springfield Police. victim.
