Wilbraham Police looking for suspect they say used counterfeit money

WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – Police in Wilbraham are searching for a suspect after counterfeit money was used to make at least two sales over the weekend.

According to the Police Department’s Facebook Page, an Easthampton resident went to sell a KX 80 dirt bike to a man on Weston Street in Wilbraham on Sunday. Police say the buyer gave the seller an envelope with counterfeit money, then sped off. This is the second incident that occurred over a two-day period.

Wilbraham Police are now searching for the suspect, who’s described as a light skinned black, or Hispanic man between the ages of 25 and 33, with black hair, a medium build, and tattoos.
