  • Pumpkin
    This fall, don’t just carve up pumpkins-eat them! Packed with nutrients including alpha and beta-carotene, fiber, magnesium, potassium, and vitamins C and E, pumpkin helps to lower cancer risk as well as protect both eye and heart health. Pumpkin is very low in calories.. Don’t forget that for additional benefits you can eat the seeds, too-they help to support the immune system and prostate health.
  • Cinnamon
    Cinnamon helps to curb cravings because it’s loaded with magnesium, fiber, calcium and iron. It’s a natural appetite suppressant because it stabilizes your blood sugar.
  • Ginger Root
    Ginger has a long history of use for relieving digestive problems such as nausea, loss of appetite, motion sickness and pain. The root or underground stem (rhizome) of the ginger plant can be consumed fresh, powdered, dried as a spice, in oil form or as juice. You can use Ginger Root in tea, in smoothies or soups, and it can be peeled or sliced.
  • Replace Your Candy Jar with the good stuff.
