LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Ludlow police are hoping that you can help them identify a man accused of stealing more than $120 worth of items from the Walgreen’s store on East Street earlier this month.

Ludlow Police Sgt. Daniel Valadas told 22News that the theft took place at around 12:50 P.M. on September 4. He says that the suspect stuffed headphones and other electronic items, as well as a dozen cans of Red Bull energy drink, into a backpack. A store employee confronted the suspect, who then threatned the worker.

Valadas says that the suspect is described as an African-American man in his 20s to early 30s. At the time, he was wearing jean shorts and a white tee shirt. He was last seen traveling north on Center Street in a car that may be a brown Nissan Maxima from the late 1990s.

Valadas said that the suspect may have been involved in another theft from the same Walgreen’s store days earlier.

If you have any information, you are asked to call Ludlow Police at (413) 583-8305.
