Avenue of States hosts car shows every weekend

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (The Big E) – Car enthusiasts from all over New England will love this year’s schedule of car shows on the Avenue of States. Each week brings a new group of classics and hot rods that will line the street for car enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy.

The Fair revs up with historic tractors at The Antique Tractor Show Sept. 17. Gear up for Mark’s Classic Cruise Day, sponsored by Mark’s Auto Parts of East Granby, Conn., Sept. 18. See a pristine display of antique cars from the AACA Connecticut Valley Region, Sept. 24 and Oct. 1, and Pontiac GTOs from the Pioneer Valley GTO Association, Sept 22.

Don’t wave the white flag yet! Paul Mennett’s “Cruisin’ New England,” takes place on Sept. 25 on the Avenue of States with a second show, Oct. 2 at the xfinity arena.

All shows take place 8am – 4pm and are presented weather permitting.

Big E fan favorite and Velocity channel star, Mike Brewer of Wheeler Dealers will be on hand Sept. 16-18. Catch Mike roaming the Fair’s car shows, cruising in the Grande Mardi Gras Parade, sponsored by True Stim, serving as emcee of The Big E Bash Sept. 16, in a Q&A Sept. 17 at 2pm on the Court of Honor Stage, sponsored by xfinity® and hosting the Collector Car Experience Sept. 18 at 2pm with co-host Chris Jacobs of Overhaulin’. The two will also be available for a Meet & Greet following the event.

The Big E takes place Sept. 16 – Oct. 2 at Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Mass.
