New Springfield sports teams the focus of Chamber breakfast

Connect to Commerce Business at Breakfast series starting new season

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Springfield Regional Chamber’s breakfast series has begun for this season!

The Connect to Commerce Business at Breakfast is a time for local business leaders to network and share best practices. They also can express concerns and problem solve together.

The first breakfast of the chamber’s 2016-2017 season was held Wednesday morning at the Sheraton Springfield. This month, the focus was on the city’s new sports teams.

“We’ve got the Springfield Thunderbirds, I mean, hello, our own hockey team! We now have an ABA basketball team, the Springfield Sting. The Springfield Chamber is really celebrating all great things going on, not just in Springfield but in our region, because what happens outside of Springfield and in Springfield all interconnect,” said Jill Monson, owner of Inspired Marketing.

At each breakfast, there is a keynote speaker. Wednesday morning, that speaker was Mindscramblers’ Christopher Tabora, who specializes in magic and networking.
