Crash caused East Leverett Road to close in Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – A two-car crash closed East Leverett Road for about an hour in Amherst Wednesday night.

Amherst Police Sgt. Gabriel Ting told 22News the cars collided on East Leverett Road, near Teawaddle Hill, at around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday. That’s very close to the Leverett town line.

Police re-opened the road just before 10:00 p.m. There is no information on any possible injuries or what caused the crash at this time.
