Chicopee Police: Driver may have information on hit-and-run crash

Child suffered fractured skull, injured shoulder in crash

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee police are searching for the driver of a pickup truck, who they say may have information about a hit-and-run crash that injured a 2 year-old.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News that the crash took place at around 6:48 P.M. August 28  on Cochran Street.

Wilk said that the child suffered a fractured skull and injured shoulder in the incident.

The truck was seen on surveillance footage at a nearby business. The driver of the truck may be a white or Hispanic man in his late 30’s-early 40’s with salt-and-pepper hair and stubble on his face.
