CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Four western Massachusetts schools are recipients of Financial Education Innovation Fund grants.
These grants are an initiative that provides money to expand Credit for Life and financial education fairs in high schools across the Commonwealth.
The awards are funded by a grants from the Division of Banks through settlements over alleged unlawful lending practices.
The State Treasurer’s Office awarded 27 high schools across the Commonwealth with nearly $80,000 in grant money.
The four schools in western Massachusetts:
- Chicopee Comprehensive High School
- Chicopee High School
- Pope Francis High School
- Ludlow High School
