Two people have been arrested in the bizarre murder of a former Penn State University professor.

(WJAC) Pennsylvania state police say a former Penn State associate professor found dead Friday was pushed off an 80-foot ledge.

Ronald Bettig had been reported missing August 12th.

Rockview state police conducted a full investigation and and found Bettig dead in a quarry near Rimmey Road in Potter Township early Friday.

Police said the investigation unveiled that George Ishler drove Bettig to the quarry under a ruse, then while at the quarry, Ishler pushed Bettig off a ledge, causing his death.

New charges have emerged and list Danelle Geier, 32, as an accomplice to the alleged homicide.
