(WPMI) The man accused of killing five people inside a remote Alabama home early Saturday has turned himself in to Mississippi authorities.
Derrick Dearman is now charged with six counts of capital murder.
Neighbors say a brother sister and their families lived inside the Citronelle home where the murders took place.
Deputies say Dearman killed them all over an estranged girlfriend.
Captain Paul Burch with Mobile County Sheriff’s Office says Dearmon used multiple methods to kill all of Dearmon’s victims.
“I don’t want to describe a gruesome scene…but it’s obvious that there was some type of instrument other than a firearm used on one of the victims,” Burch said.
