(NBC) – What do you get when you mix The Fonz, Captain Kirk, a football Hall-of-Famer, a former Heavyweight Champion of the World, and then stir in a heavy dose of jet-lag and culture shock?
That’s the recipe for the new NBC series “Better Late Than Never”.
Comedian Jeff Dye serves as host of the show and occasional concierge as William Shatner, Henry Winkler, George Foreman and Terry Bradshaw navigate their way through Japan, South Korea and other Asian nations.
Along the way they display a love/hate relationship held together by trepidation and ultimately, triumph.
“I was petrified when I left America, I was electrified when I came back,” Winkler says.
