WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Dozens of visitors to the Taste of the Valley in West Springfield worked up a good appetite Sunday morning.
They participated in the annual 3.1 mile walk and run near the town common, where dozens of food vendors have been a popular attraction since Thursday evening.
Bob Lynch of Westfield told 22News why he never misses a chance to run a few miles, saying, “It’s a great hobby. I like the lifestyle and the people you meet along the way.”
Whether you walked the course or made a run for it, the run and walk has become a well-attended event.
The exercise began and ended at the West Springfield senior center on Park Street.
