Former Boston Uber driver goes to court Monday in sexual assault case

He's being held without the right to bail

BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Some key questions may be answered Monday when alleged rapist Darnell Booth of Boston goes to court in the Boston suburb of Malden.

The Judge will rule if the 36 year old former Uber driver is a danger to the public.

Booth pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a 16 year old girl from nearby Everett, while he was driving her to a summer school program last month.

The San Francisco based Uber company claims Booth wasn’t one of their drivers at the time. He’s being held without the right to bail.
