Girl scouts introduce two types of s’more cookies

For anyone counting, cookie season starts in 144 days

(CNN) – Thin mints. Caramel Delites or Samoas. Peanut butter patties or tagalongs. No matter what you call girl scout cookies we can all agree on one thing, they’re delicious. Now, just in time for national s’mores day the scouts announced a couple more cookie flavors you can look forward to.

Mmm s’mores. It’s the perfect campfire treat as demonstrated by the sandlot.

Sandlot, the movie: “You want a s’more? I haven’t had anything yet, so how can I have some more of nothing? You’re killing me, S’malls!”

While movies immortalized s’mores, the girl scouts were among the first to publish the recipe in 1927.

Commercial: “First you take the graham. You stick the chocolate on the graham. Then you roast the mallow. Once the mallow’s flaming, you stick it on the chocolate. Then you cover it on the other end. Then you stuff.”

Now, to celebrate 100 years of selling cookies. The girl scouts are combining two iconic traditions s’mores and cookies, with two types of s’more cookies.

One that’s covered in chocolate and another that is stuffed with the classic chocolate marshmallow combo.

If you can’t wait until cookie season to get your s’mores fix, pick up some s’mores flavored ice cream, granola bars and even cereal to get you in the campfire mood.

Girl scouts are celebrating the new cookie flavors by hosting campfires all across the country. See the closest one to you by heading over to the girl scouts of America website.
