2 taken to hospital after rollover crash in Westfield

Accident took place on gravel power company access road

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Westfield police are still trying to figure out what caused a rollover crash on a gravel access road Tuesday evening.

Westfield Police Sgt. Jeffrey Baillageron told 22News that the car rolled over after 7:30 P.M. on a power company access road. The access road is off North West Road, across from Camp Shepard.

Two people in the car were injured, with one person receiving minor injuries, and another person more seriously hurt. They were both taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. There is no word on their condition at this time.

Baillageron told 22News that the vehicle involved in the crash was a private car, and not a power company vehicle.
