Car crashed into the MassMutual Center; 2 taken to Baystate

Both occupants were unconscious

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two men were unconscious when they were removed from the car that hit the side of the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Thursday night. massmutual ax

Springfield Police Lt. Stephen Wyszynski told 22News the Chevy Malibu was heading west on State Street when it hit the building between Dwight and Main Streets at 9:19 p.m.

“There was minor damage to the building, but both occupants were unconscious,” Wyszynski said. The men were taken to Baystate Medical Center by ambulance. Wyszynski did not believe the victims’ injuries were serious.
