SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield Police are investigating a stabbing, early Thursday evening, after a man walked into Baystate Medical Center with a stab wound.
Springfield Police Lt. Stephen Wyszynski told 22News the 20-year-old walked into Baystate around 4:45 p.m. with a stab wound to the side of his chest.
The man told the security at Baystate he was stabbed in the Girard Avenue area, Lt. Wyszynski said, but he is not cooperating with police. Lt. Wyszynski described the victim’s condition as non-life threatening.
