Man wanted by Southampton police for robbery

SOUTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Southampton police are asking for your help in identifying a man suspected of robbery.

Southampton police posted to their facebook page, asking anyone with information to call the Southampton Police Department directly at (413) 527-1120

Southampton Police Sergeant Martin Cook told 22News Southampton Police were called to County Liquors on County Road around 7:30 PM Friday night. An employee at the store reported that the suspect pulled out a hypodermic needle, held it in a threatening manner, and demanded all the money.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years old, 5’06”-5’07” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, tan cargo shorts, white sunglasses, and no shoes.

The suspect escaped with an undetermined amount of money.
